About this course

Creative nonfiction is a powerful amalgam of truth, research, personal experience and expository writing. Summer is the perfect time to try your hand at crafting your own! This form of writing is often inspired by the reflective quality of slowing down or shifting perspectives in time or place. Selected essays and poetry will be used to stimulate your creative juices and journal prompts will get us started with generating and expanding ideas. There is no pressure to create a finished work (some may be inspired by the essays to write poems) and we are focused on process and fun!  CEUs Available.
