About this course

Always Bring a Pencil: Reflecting on Your Writing
Instructor: Linda Barnes, MS, CJT, CAPF
with poems by Naomi Shihab Nye. As the season warms and minds drift like clouds above, we will follow our meandering thoughts over a blank page, coaxed by the poet's words, to discover both ideas that float, and feelings deeper beneath. With pencil, pen and crayon, we will explore why we write, and the universe of writing topics through which we wander daily. Both daydreaming and stargazing are encouraged during this class.
